FAQs

OHHH, someone’s an eager beaver! 🦫 We’re still putting the finishing touches on everything, so check back once you receive your official invitation in the mail. Our website will be fully loaded with all the details about our big day soon! 🤍 So many questions... So little time!!! We hope things helps answer a few!
Question

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Think upscale garden party — polished, pretty, and comfortable! We’d love for everyone to dress nicely (cocktail attire with a relaxed, outdoor twist), but most importantly, wear something you feel great in. Flowy dresses, linen suits, fun accessories, and shoes that work on grass are all perfect. Our color palette is full of soft, muted fall tones — peachy pinks, light greens, soft yellows and oranges, touches of baby blue, muted violets, and rich wine reds — so feel free to play within that vibe if you’d like. Just come looking lovely and feeling like yourself!

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

For guests within driving distance of the venue, there is free on-site parking. With that being said, parking is limited. So please try to carpool for ease of parking and for the planet!

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Yes, it’ll be fully outside — under the open sky, with sunshine (or maybe a few happy clouds), flowers all around, and nature as our backdrop. Please be mindful of your shoe selection, lots of grass for your heels to slip into, please wear something chunky!

Question

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

Santa Maria Airport (SMX) and San Luis Obispo Airport (SBP). Both are just a short drive from Nipomo, so you’ll be relaxing and celebrating with us in no time! If you're coming from farther away or need more flight options, LAX is a larger airport about 3.5 hours south—perfect for a scenic road trip up the coast. We're so excited to see you!

Question

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate outdoors with you in beautiful Nipomo! In early October, the weather is usually mild and lovely — daytime temperatures typically sit in the low to mid 70s °F, with cooler evenings dropping into the 50s. Rain is rare this time of year, but you may want to bring a light jacket, wrap, or sweater just in case the evening breeze picks up once the sun goes down. Think golden hour glow, crisp fall air, and perfect dancing weather under the stars!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’re keeping our celebration small and intimate, surrounded by our closest loved ones. Because of that, we’re only able to accommodate plus-ones for certain guests. If you’ve been given a plus-one, it will be noted on your RSVP invitation. We hope you understand and know how much we truly appreciate you being part of our special day!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Because we’re keeping the day cozy and intimate with limited space, we kindly ask that children do not attend the wedding. We hope you can treat this as a special date night to relax and celebrate with us—think of it as a little grown-up getaway! We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have an open bar for everyone to enjoy — cheers to celebrating together! 🥂 That said, since we’re gathering in a small, residential area, we kindly ask everyone to enjoy responsibly and be mindful of the space and neighbors. Let’s have a great time, making wonderful memories!

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

We’ll be serving a buffet-style meal with plenty of delicious options for everyone! The buffet includes vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free choices to help accommodate different needs. If you have any specific dietary restrictions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly—we’re happy to help make sure you have a wonderful dining experience.

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

We’re so grateful for your love and generosity! If you’d like to gift us something, please check out the Registry tab right here on our website for some ideas. If you prefer, a card will also be very much appreciated and can be happily accepted at the ceremony. Thank you for celebrating with us!

Question

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

Our reception will wrap up by 9 PM, as our charming venue is nestled in a quiet residential area with a strict curfew. But don’t worry — the dancing kicks off around 6 PM, so there’s plenty of time to boogie, celebrate, and make amazing memories! While there won’t be an after-party, we promise the night will be full of fun from start to finish.

Question

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be a 90-minute gap between the ceremony and reception. During this time, you can enjoy tasty appetizers, refreshing cocktails and mocktails, and some fun activities to keep the celebration going while we get everything ready for the next part of the day. It’s the perfect chance to mingle, relax, and soak it all in!

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! We love that you want to capture memories with us. We do kindly ask that during the ceremony itself, you hold off on taking photos so our professional photographer can capture every special moment without distractions. After that, feel free to snap away—but please try to be mindful and avoid smartphone photobombing the pro shots. Thanks for helping us keep the day picture-perfect!
