What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is business casual. Ladies should wear nice blouses with nice jeans, dresses and we encourage a jacket in case it gets chilly, and the gentlemen should wear nice jeans, a button down shirt and please bring a comfortable jacket.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

It may be 0 degrees it may be 75 degrees we have no idea because it is Texas so please plan accordingly

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Depends on the weather but if it’s favorable weather the ceremony will be held outside and the reception will be indoors

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is free, please find any empty spot to park, if you are elderly please park right in front of the door and one of the staff will park your car for you

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. However, please reach out if you are in a long term relationship with somebody and we forgot about it.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

December 1st, so we can have a pretty good head count, you can either RSVP online or RSVP via email (victoriaadamotankersley@gmail.com) If you do not RSVP please bring a lawn chair

Yes

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes, there will be food and drinks, we will be having Chuy's for dinner

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

There will be gluten, dairy and nut free options, if you have any specific food restrictions please let us know as soon as possible because we will try our best to provide you with a food option at our wedding

Please just take the flowers as souvenirs

There will be a rehearsal dinner and the rehearsal will happen at Red Ridge on Friday

Bastrop has a few options, we do not have any hotel blocks, if you are lost and need help in finding a hotel for the wedding please reach out we would love to help

We are leaving at 9pm from Red Ridge and may go to a different area for any further partying

For those who have been married for a long time we ask for advice for long lasting marriage. If you are single or not married we pray that you pray for our patience in our marriage.

Will there be dancing/entertainment?

Um, is there a sun and moon? LOL. Of course we will have dancing. We have arranged for a DJ that will help you dance your tush off. This ain’t no Footloose. If you have any specific music requests please let us know and we will incorporate into our reception somehow 😊

Will you be changing your name(s)?

Answer

Victoria has chosen to hyphenate their name. Their full maiden name is Victoria Rose Pilialoha Tankersley, their legal married name will be Victoria Rose Pilialoha Adamo-Tankersley.
