Tia and Jacob’s love story began with a right swipe on the dating app, Hinge - both searching for something real in a dating pool that, let’s be honest, had definitely been peed in. Their connection started as a friendship, filled with long, late-night phone calls, and text conversations until Tia finally gave Jacob a gentle nudge to make the move and ask her out. Their first date was at Brunswick Beer and Cider, where they ended up talking for hours — so long, in fact, that the place closed around them. It felt like they had known each other forever. From there, the dates kept getting better as they built a bond that brought a whole new level of happiness neither of them saw coming. The past year and a half has been the best time of their lives, full of late-night ice cream runs to Dairy Queen, countless inside jokes, plenty of pizza nights, the blending of family and friends, and of course, Jacob becoming a proud dog dad to Tia’s French Bulldog, Squish. Together, Tia and Jacob have grown both as individuals and as a couple and they couldn’t be more excited to become husband and wife. They’re incredibly grateful to be surrounded by their friends and family on their special day and can’t wait to celebrate with you in Currie next April.
