Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Taylor Pettinato and Jacob Lunceford
We know Dallas might not be the most thrilling spot on the map, but the surrounding towns hold so many memories from the places we've lived over the years! Here are a few of our favorite things to do nearby that you might enjoy, too. Whether it's exploring cozy breweries, scenic walking trails, or hidden local gems, there's plenty to discover.

Kennesaw Mountain National Park

900 Kennesaw Mountain Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30152

Take a hike at this historic site where we got our engagement pictures taken and said "I love you" for the first time. It’s a beautiful spot with stunning views and walking trails.

NOC Chattahoochee Outpost - Powers Island

5450 Interstate North Parkway, Sandy Springs, GA 30328

This spot holds a special place in our story—it’s where we reconnected after Jacob moved back to Georgia. Whether you’re up for some river adventures or just want to enjoy the peaceful vibes, it’s a place full of memories and magic for us!

Lee + White

1070 White Street Southwest, Atlanta, GA 30310

Just a short walk from where we used to live, Lee + White was our go-to spot for craft brews, delicious bites, and laid-back vibes. We’ve shared so many laughs and memories here! Take a stroll through the food hall, try a local beer, and soak it up!

Ponce City Market

675 Ponce De Leon Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30308

From admiring the cool architecture of the historic building to pretending we belonged in the fancy shops, we’ve always loved the charm of Ponce City Market. With delicious food, rooftop games, and skyline views, it’s the perfect spot to explore and enjoy.

Georgia Aquarium

225 Baker Street Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30313

One of our favorite date spots! Who wouldn’t love seeing whale sharks, penguins, and belugas all in one place? Bonus: It’s right across the lawn from the World of Coca-Cola, so you can easily knock out two iconic Atlanta attractions in one day. A perfect mix of wonder and fun!

The Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail

Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail, Atlanta, GA 30312

We’ve spent countless afternoons walking this trail with our Huxley, enjoying the art, vibrant energy, and delicious stops along the way. Whether you’re strolling, biking, or just taking it all in, it’s one of the best ways to experience Atlanta’s charm.

Marietta Square

99 South Park Square Northeast, Marietta, GA 30060

While it’s not a big part of our love story, Taylor used to live very close to the square and adores the charm of this downtown spot. With its historic brick buildings, delicious restaurants, and cute locally owned shops, it’s a lovely place to wander and spend some time soaking in the small-town vibes.

For all the days along the way
