FAQ

Question

Where is the venue?

Answer

The Court Above Main is on the 3rd floor of The Wedding Tree building on Main Street in Downtown La Crosse, WI. The venue entrance is on the side of the building in the alley/Doerflinger Walk. Please do not enter through The Wedding Tree, as that business operates independently of the venue.

Question

Where do I find parking?

Answer

There are several public parking ramps downtown La Crosse. Unfortunately, the City of La Crosse has recently made changes to the days and hours that require paid parking. Please follow the ramp parking guidelines to avoid being ticketed. Below are links for more information on the two ramps closest to the venue: Market Square Ramp (2 Minute Walk to Venue): https://www.cityoflacrosse.org/Home/Components/FacilityDirectory/FacilityDirectory/28/277 Main Street Ramp (5 Minute Walk to Venue): https://www.cityoflacrosse.org/Home/Components/FacilityDirectory/FacilityDirectory/20/277

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

For those joining us for cocktail hour and beyond, please arrive at 4:30. For those attending the ceremony, please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and get to your seat. If you are not seated once the ceremony has begun, the ballroom doors will be closed and you will be asked to wait in the lounge until the ceremony is over.

Question

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! The venue is on the 3rd floor of the building, but there is an elevator that all guests are able to use if you are unable to take the stairs.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail. We would love to see all our guests decked out in midi to long dresses, pantsuits or dress pants and with a tie or jacket. Please avoid wearing shades of white, cream, or ivory.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacities, we have not given any guests a "plus one." The guests listed on your invitation or under the RSVP tab are invited.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

If your child is invited, they will be listed under the RSVP tab. If your child is not invited, please take this opportunity to enjoy a night out! We appreciate your respect for our decision.
