FAQs

Question

How far is the venue from Nashville?

Answer

Owen Farm is about 35-40 minutes west of downtown in beautiful Cheatham County, TN. Since it's west of downtown, it's on the opposite side of the city from the airport (about 50 minutes).

Question

Are there lodging options nearby?

Answer

Yes, we have a hotel block in Ashland City, TN, about 15 minutes from the venue. There are a few local motels and Airbnb rentals nearby. We also encourage anyone who wants to explore Nashville as part of the weekend to stay in the city! Please click on the "Travel" tab for more information on hotel blocks.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Obviously we'll be dressed up, and we'd love if you were, too! Ultimately, as long as what you're wearing still let's you dance it up at the reception, we're just glad you're there celebrating with us :) The ceremony and reception will be held outside.

Question

How do I RSVP & when is the deadline?

Answer

The invitations have officially been dropped off with USPS! All RSVPs will be collected through our website using the "RSVP" tab. The deadline to RSVP is August 17. Please note that final numbers are due to our vendors by a certain date, so we will not be able to accommodate any late RSVPs.

Question

Can I bring my kids or extra guests?

Answer

Anyone listed on your invitation is invited -- kids included! Due to limited space, we are able to accommodate only those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive & where will I park?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00~ish (...if you know the bride, odds are high we're starting late!). We encourage you to arrive around 4:30 to ensure you have time to park and get seated. When you arrive, follow parking signs at the venue and look for the parking attendants. There will be golf cart shuttles to drive you from your car to the ceremony space.

Question

Is there a shuttle from the hotel or will I need to find a ride?

Answer

We will have a 38-passenger shuttle running between the hotel block (Hampton Inn / Sleep Inn Ashland City) and the wedding venue. The first shuttle will depart the hotel at 3:30 PM for anyone who would like to arrive early. The shuttle will continue running approximately every 30–35 minutes, with enough trips scheduled for guests to arrive before the ceremony. We recommend taking the 4:00 PM shuttle so you have plenty of time to get settled and find your seat before the wedding begins. Shuttle service will also run after the reception to ensure everyone has a safe ride back to the hotel. While Uber and Lyft do operate in the area, availability may be limited, so we strongly encourage guests to use the shuttle — especially at the end of the night.
