When people think of Vegas most think of the vintage signs and old town casinos. If you want to see the smaller and wilder side go check out Fremont. The signs are amazing + it is much more walkable than the real Vegas strip which is miles and miles long.
Choreographed with variations such that you don’t see the exact same show too often, the Bellagio fountain show also gets music refreshers from time to time. The show lasts only a few minutes, but in those few minutes you experience magic. And shows run through the afternoon and evening, so you can catch it more than once if you wish. Definitely plan on seeing the show at least once after dark. On weekends and holidays, the shows start at noon and run every 30 minutes until 7 p.m. From 7 p.m. until midnight, the shows run every 15 minutes. On weekdays, they start at 3 p.m.
The Neon Museum is located in downtown Las Vegas and is by far the coolest museum in town! You get the opportunity to stroll around a massive, neon sign boneyard that is the resting place of all the vintage neon signs from the Vegas hotels. What is neat about this museum is that there are constantly new signs being added! Even if you’ve been here before, it will likely be a little different next time.
