We first met at the MakerSpace where Jacob worked, and later I went back to my friends and talked about how cute he was (Jacob has no memory of meeting at the MakerSpace). Fast forward six months, I went to a party with my friend, Rebekah, and Jacob was there. A couple weeks later Rebekah invited me to a concert and Jacob ended up going with some friends as well. That was when Jacob asked for my number and the rest is history.

I came back from class one afternoon and Jacob told me that I needed to get ready. I was instantly suspicious. Jacob took me for a walk on the trails at the UGA intramural fields. We eventually arrived at my favorite spot on campus, a bench overlooking the lake. I noticed it was decorated with flowers and little love notes and across the bench was written "Star, will you marry me?" Just like that we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you.
