This will be a BYOB event. Jake and I were supposed to elope, but due to Covid, we had to make other arrangements, and providing an open bar just wasn't in our budget. Feel free to bring whatever you like to keep under your table. We will provide non alcoholic beverages tho :)
No....The Ceremony will be held at the Long Beach Town Green on the deck behind the pavilion. Then a short 15 minute scenic drive down the beach to the reception at the Longfellow Civic Center in Bay ST Louis.
Yes. The park has spaces all along the outside. And the reception venue sits on top of a parking garage.
HAHA is that even a real question? HAHAHA Wear what makes you comfortable but think "Dress Casual" Blue jeans and dress shirt or spring/sun dresses
Arrive 15-20 min before the ceremony starts. This allows you time to find a parking space and find a seat.
We've been living together a while so we will have a Newlywed Cash Fund at the reception. But we do have an Amazon & Target Registry set up as well
I like to think its Rustic Chic. Think lace, blue jeans, baby's breath and greenery. Colors are a shade of mauve
This moment will be extremely special to us and because we have chosen you to share it with, we want you to be fully present, so NO! Please do NOT take pictures DURING the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer AND videographer. So pictures and videos are taken care of. Besides, everyone's cell phones in the air in all of our photos of us walking down the aisle would look tacky lol
ABSOLUTELY! We encourage it! Have fun with it! And if you post on social media...use our wedding Hashtag! #JacobFrenchedSerresa
As soon as possible after receiving your invitation but by March 1st, 2021. This allows us time to plan meals, how many tables/chairs, etc.
We ask that the 1st rows on each side be reserved for immediate family but other than that sit where ever you like! We're all family :) There will only be 30 chairs set up. And then the deck has a bench that circles the entire inside.
We will NOT be providing masks. So please bring your own. This is strictly your own personal preference. We will not be wearing a mask. Nor are we requiring our wedding party to wear them. The ceremony will be outside so really no need. The reception venue, however, will be indoors. But we have kept our guest list to 60 people max. Our venue holds up to 250 I believe, so plenty of room to keep your social distance if you so choose. HOWEVER, The buffet station will have sanitizer and we do ask that you wear your mask while serving yourself. Just to set everyone at ease.
So if it rains we have a phone tree system to get in touch with guests to confirm a change of ceremony location. But we plan on just having the ceremony at the reception venue if it rains.
