FAQs

The Wedding Website of Savannah O’Dell and Jacob Craig
Question

What’s the deal with the ceremony on Thursday?

Answer

The ceremony has been moved up in time to adjust to sunset time and shuffling everyone over to the beach. The club house will be used instead of Savannah’s family house, which is close by, and the club house has a pool so bring a swimsuit! To get in the neighborhood the code is #7575. Please contact us if there are any questions about this!

Question

Is there a dress code for the ceremony on Thursday and reception on Friday?

Answer

For the ceremony: this is a beach casual event, bring a swim suit & towel and enjoy the pool after the ceremony under the stars while listening to music and eating tapas and drinking cocktails! For the reception: we would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress with spring colors and formal cocktail attire like suits, cocktail dresses and gowns.

Question

When should we arrive for the reception?

Answer

The doors will open twenty minutes before six pm on Friday evening. Arriving early will be best since downtown Saint Augustine has limited parking. Uber and walking, depending on how close you are to the venue, will be the best option!

Question

Why are the ceremony and reception on different days?

Answer

We have decided to do a calm relaxed handfasting ceremony on the beach in front of the O'Dell home on the beach. This will be a short and sweet ceremony with standing only and limited parking. Parking around the home will be open first come first serve and then parking on A1A road will be after that is filled. We also remind you that since this is on the beach we will be walking through some dry marsh and sand! Please contact us for any questions.

Question

How to get there?

Answer

Uber or Lyft will be your best friend in the city so you do not have to worry about paying to park or walking far distances. If you do drive, there is plenty of parking all over the city, just be ready for a walk! We ourselves will be staying in a hotel downtown so we will be walking to the venue.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your kids, we are having this as an adult-only party. Think of it like a date night and have some fun!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accomodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would LOVE if you could RSVP sooner rather than later so we know who we get to spend this amazing day with! The latest day to RSVP is February 14, 2025, if you do not RSVP by that time we will assume you will not be able to attend. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask!
