Our story begins almost 7 years ago. In early September, 2011, Jake and I wound up at a mutual friend's party. He asked me to be his beer pong partner and we instantly hit if off. Fast forward seven years, now I get to marry my best friend, and beer pong partner for life.

On the morning of September 16, 2016, the day before Jake's graduation from Paramedic School, he announced that we would be going out to dinner that night, and that we had to dress nice. Though I had an idea what was ahead, I was still nervous the entire day (and so was he). He took me to Mario's Place in Downtown Riverside, where following dinner he got down on one knee. With tears in my eyes, I said YES. On that night, we happened to walk up to the restaurant at the same time as Uncle Alan & Aunt Pam who just so happened to be meeting friends. They ended up sitting a couple tables away, and were able to watch the whole event unfold, which made the event even more special.
