One of our favorite things to do on a date or during a vacation is visiting museums and historical sites. Our local museum features exhibits on local history in a historic home from the Aiken Winter Colony.
We enjoy coming here to see the beautiful gardens, ponds, and wildlife that live here. These gardens were once an estate owned by the Iselin family and were donated to the city of Aiken after Hope Iselin's death in 1970. Inside the gardens, you can find exhibits like the Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame, the Doll House, and a granite labyrinth.
