D.C. Booth Historic National Fish Hatchery & Archives

423 Hatchery Circle, Spearfish, SD 57783
, (605) 642-7730

One of the oldest fish hatcheries in the US, it hatches 20,000 to 30,000 rainbow trout each year. Feed the fish, watch them swim under water, and walk around the hatchery gardens. Close to the park, right next to our reception pavilion, and bike trail!

Bridal Veil Falls

A 6.8 mile hike to the top of Crow Peak (rising 4200 to 5600 ft), with incredible views of the Black Hills, Wyoming, and Montana!

A little trek outside of Spearfish, but definitely worth the views! A beautiful little lake full of good fishing, sunshine, and wildflowers.
