FAQs

Here are some frequently asked questions and their answers. If you have any questions not covered below, please feel free to contact one of us directly to get your question answered ASAP.
Question

Where can I find the live stream, and will I be able to view it at a later time?

Answer

Our livestream will be on our YouTube channel under the name HekmanAndWife. Or you can copy and paste this web address- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChRKsEgHp5g-nnimW-0A4wA The service will be archived on the channel for future viewing as well. You do not have to have a YouTube account to watch, but if you do have an account you can subscribe to get an alert when it starts. We will begin 30 minutes prior to the wedding to capture the prewedding music and allow extra time to work out any issues with the streaming before the big event.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would appreciate your RSVP as soon as possible. However, we understand that planning is difficult with covid-19 involved. As such, we respectfully ask that you RSVP by March 20th so that we can plan accordingly.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! We have several food allergies in our immediate family, so we understand how important allergen-conscious food options are. Please let us know ASAP what your allergy/intolerance is as well as how severe your reaction and sensitivity are, and we will do everything we can to make sure there are food options for you.

Question

I'm worried about the risk of Covid-19 in a large group setting, but I still want to attend somehow. What can I do?

Answer

Covid-19 is very much a concern of ours as well. With Covid-19 in mind, we will be live streaming our service on our YouTube channel HekmanAndWife for guests who would still like to celebrate with us but will not be present. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChRKsEgHp5g-nnimW-0A4wA

Question

What is your plan for Covid-19 safety?

Answer

The safety of our guests is our top priority. We encourage all of our eligible guests to get vaccinated. We also encourage use of masks and social distancing prior to the wedding day. DAY OF PLAN: For guests who have neither had the virus nor the vaccine, we kindly request that for the safety of all of our guests, you wear a mask whenever possible. If come April 25th, you feel even slightly ill (the CDC has a comprehensive list of all Covid-19 symptoms) PLEASE STAY HOME. You can still join us virtually through the livestream on our YouTube channel HekmanAndWife. We'd love to celebrate with you at a later date when you're feeling better.
