Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow

We met through our mutual friend, Brooke Stevenson, Riley's college roommate. She called Riley last summer to tell her about this good-looking guy she kept seeing at Mass. "Riley, you have to meet him. He's just missing... you!" Brooke and her husband, Eric, had us over for dinner in August, and we spent the next few weekends traveling back and forth to Springfield and Jefferson City before Jacob left for Virginia. The short distance last summer prepared us for the much longer distance we navigated this school year. It's true that distance really does make the heart grow fonder ;) It was no coincidence that we met when we did, but an instance of divine providence. Months into dating, we would find out that we had both been praying novenas, Riley to Mother Mary, and Jacob to St. Joseph, for our vocations and future spouses just before we met each other. God has been so lavishly generous with us through dating and engagement! We are so thankful to all of you, our family and friends, for the outpouring of love, encouragement, and well wishes. We are excited and humbled to enter into this beautiful sacrament in a few months! Please pray for us and know of our prayers for you. Love, Riley & Jacob
