We’re getting married!

We met when Raquel was in Seattle in February and went on a couple dates. When Raquel went home, we face-timed for hours (ask our parents) and talked non stop, and both felt that everything just felt perfect with each other. Since we lived in two different states we wondered if this was even practical or if it would work out. Since I was moving to Utah at the beginning of the summer, we came to the conclusion that there would be a couple trips back and forth till I moved down, but we decided we wanted to move forward, and most importantly, with each other. It had been almost two weeks since Raquel had left Seattle and decided that Raquel would come back to Seattle and meet my parents. During the duration of her stay, we both knew it was the right decision and told my parents. I moved down to Utah in May and proposed shortly thereafter. With all the planning with moving to Hawaii directly after the wedding, it's been a crazy time, but one that we are super excited for!
