FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please try to arrive at least 15 mins prior to the start time of the ceremony (see “Schedule” tab) to find your seating and sign our guestbook.

Question

Do I need transportation between ceremony and reception?

Answer

No! The wedding ceremony and reception are all on site at Ritz Charles.

Question

Will there be any transportation provided after the reception?

Answer

Since the recommended hotel is walking distance from Ritz Charles, we will not be providing transportation. If you are not staying at the Hyatt Place Indianapolis Carmel, please make sure your party has a safe way to make it to your final destination.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us :) Please do not bring outside alcohol or flasks - we promise there will be plenty for everyone! Keep in mind that if you are not staying at Hyatt Place Indianapolis Carmel, you will need to have a safe form of transportation planned for after the wedding.

Question

Will there be free parking on site?

Answer

Yes!

Question

Do I get to bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we unfortunately are only able to accommodate guests that have been formally invited. If you have a plus one, they will be listed on your RSVP link in your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, our wedding will be adult only aside from our guestbook attendants. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

How do I RSVP and when is the deadline?

Answer

You can RSVP on our wedding website (see “RSVP” tab). The deadline to RSVP is February 14, 2024 so we can provide an accurate headcount to our venue in advance.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We ask that you honor our “unplugged” ceremony and do not take any photos during the ceremony. Please feel free to take pictures at the cocktail hour/reception though and use our hashtag #DestinedToBeDecker :)

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our guests get dressed up with us for our big day! Cocktail/Semi-Formal attire is requested. Ladies, please refrain from wearing colors generally reserved for the bride - whites, creams, and ivories.
