Dear Friends and Family, We look forward to sharing our special day with you. We appreciate the love and support you have shown to us during this time. Although we have had to make a few minor changes, we are happy to share that our wedding is still planned for our original date of August 8th, 2020. Our reception will now take place at the White Barn in Prospect, PA. Please refer to the ‘schedule’ tab on our website for more information. This barn will be air conditioned and will provide plenty of room for guests to spread out. There are three floors, a porch, and a balcony at the barn with plenty of outdoor space. We kindly ask that all of our guests bring a mask and wear it upon entering and exiting the church building for the ceremony. Our ushers will be seating everyone according to the church policy with distancing standards in place. Once seated, masks can be removed. Please plan to arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to allow for extra time required to seat all guests. We also ask that you keep a mask with you at the reception. Masks are optional during the length of the reception. The buffet will have catering servers helping to plate your selections. During this time of unknowns, we believe everyone should have the choice to feel safe. With this in mind, we support any individual or family decision to remain absent from our ceremony and/or reception. We appreciate all of our family and friends, those in attendance and those who cannot attend due to the current circumstances. We ask that anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 would refrain from attending in person, but we look forward to celebrating with you in the future. Thank you for the continued support and be sure to check our website occasionally for any further updates and information. We also ask that RSVPs are made as early as possible to help with our current planning. Love, The current and future Jones’
We both worked at Seneca Hills Bible Camp, Jake as a counselor, Olivia as a waitress. Olivia had a huge crush on Jake and would tell people she was going to marry him someday. Then the summer ended, we went our separate ways (which were both to Grove City) and never saw each other.
Jake and Olivia both moved out of their parents homes in November of 2018. Jake needed a bed so he went into Butler to get one then ended up at Target to buy sheets. Olivia had plans to stop at her Mom's house to pick up a piece of furniture but it hadn't come in yet. So since she was already dressed to go out she decided to go to Butler (which she has never done) and look for a few things at Target. When Olivia walked in she saw Jake right away, he waved, and she looked down and ran away. Jake then proceeded to pass Olivia about 4 more times. When Olivia finally got the courage to say hi to "Jonesie" he had already left. So, she did the only thing she could do. She sent him the embarrassing "Were you just at Target?" message. Cringy I know. But here we are preparing for our wedding! Always go to Target, you may just find your husband!
