Our Story

Jacob and I met at Cullman High School in drama class. He was a Junior, and I was a Freshman. For our two years of high school together, we were just friends with a healthy competitive spirit over whose class would win Homecoming. Over the next six years, Jacob and I popped in and out of one another's lives. We "just talked" a few times, went to dinner before a football game, and he even came to watch me in Montgomery at the DYW State program, but we never dated. In March of 2018, Jacob popped back into my life! He asked me to lunch, and we continued going to lunch a series of times the summer before my senior year of college. Honestly, I was a little confused if we were just friends or if he liked me. Then, the day I moved back to school, Jacob sent me flowers with a note that said, "Senior year will fly by, don't forget to stop and smell the roses." I had my answer. He liked me! That night, he called me to ask if I liked them, and he's called me every day since. Fast forward a month, and Jacob asked me to visit Auburn and go on a date. On September 15th, 2018, Jacob decided it wasn't so complicated, and asked me to be his girlfriend!
