Lake Shasta Caverns National Natural Landmark

Lake Shasta is the largest man made lake in California. It is very full this year, which is awesome. This lake has some of the warmest lake water we've ever been in. It is comfortable and almost like taking a bath!

Shasta Lake

We used to live in this neighborhood and I walked these trails almost every day. It's open to the public with paved trails and it's just really pretty. There are ponds, willow trees and wildlife. It's really peaceful!

Lema Ranch

It's about an hour away, but if you have the time, Mount Shasta is one of your favorite little towns to visit. It's a quiet mountain town, but they have cute shops, restaurants and coffee shops!
