Millard Canyon Creek
If you're into hiking and love a casual but beautiful woodsy environment this is one we highly recommend. Follow a rocky trail through the dense woods along the edge of a riverbed that eventually takes you to a waterfall.
Porto's Bakery and Cafe
This place is very special to us as it is where we first met, but also it has some truly remarkable food at a pretty affordable rate. Be sure to grab a pastry from their extensive collection and if you need a recommendation Jacob's favorite is the Cubano sandwich.
Descanso Gardens
Descanso Gardens is a wonderful place to take a stroll in the beauty of nature. We've often taken a long afternoon on the weekend to explore these sprawling gardens and enjoy being together.
Santa Monica Pier
If you've never seen the pier, or even if you have and are just craving the ocean waves after a year and a half of COVID keeping you away from it then definitely check it out! Also near the pier is where we had our third date; a restaurant called Blue Fish Taco. If you end up going we cannot recommend the shrimp tacos enough! So good!
