We met in early 2017, and from the very beginning, something just felt right. We spent countless hours together surrounded by mutual friends, laughing, making memories, and growing closer through every season of life. Even before we officially started dating in October 2018, we had already built a bond rooted in friendship, fun, and an unshakable connection. As life moved forward, so did we. While I was traveling back and forth to beauty school in the Tri-Cities, we made the most of every weekend together. In December 2020, we took a big step and bought our first home — a place filled with love, laughter, and soon enough, two very energetic golden retrievers, Lola and Murphy. Together, we’ve supported each other through career changes, celebrated major professional milestones, and leaned on one another through some of life’s hardest losses. Every high and low only strengthened what we share. In May 2025, we traveled to Mexico, where Jacob could barely contain the secret he’d been holding onto. On our first full day, after a relaxing afternoon by the pool, he insisted we stop for a picture on the way to our room. Despite some of my (totally reasonable) fussing about hair and outfits, his persistence paid off. He knelt down on the beach and asked the most important question — one he now jokingly regrets asking (just kidding). I said YES of course! It was perfect, and it marked the beginning of our next chapter, one we can’t wait to continue together.
