Jacob and Mireille will be getting married on their 8th year together, on the 8th day of the 8th month, 2026. Jacob will be 28 years old and it is the year of the horse (of course Mireille will be ensuring horses are involved in the wedding!). Mireille grew up in the rural village of Foxham in Wiltshire riding ponies and has always dreamt of her fairy tale wedding at her mum's home. After meeting Jacob, this is soon to become true. Jacob and Mireille met in 2017 in their first year at Oxford Brookes University. Six months later, they became girlfriend and boyfriend. In 2020, they moved into their first home together in Bristol where they both began their first jobs as teachers. Four years later, they decided to move into Mireille's mum's house to save money to buy a house. In that time, they became Aunty and Uncle twice and bought a beautiful, ragdoll kitten called Primrose. On 29/8/25, Jacob proposed to Mireille whilst they were on a family holiday in one of Mireille's favourite places, Lymington.
