Flight
Fly into Paris via Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Orly (ORY), then continue into the city by train or taxi. From CDG, simply board the RER B line toward Robinson or Saint Remy les Chevreuse. Tickets are sold at the airport RER station through automated machines or the ticket booth. From Orly, catch the Orlyval shuttle to Antony station. Tickets are available at the Orlyval kiosk, and you can transfer there to the RER. If you prefer a taxi, follow the Taxi signs to the official stands outside baggage claim. Fares are regulated and clearly posted. Steer clear of unmarked cars, which can be more expensive or unsafe.
Hotel
If you’re arriving in Paris ahead of the wedding, consider staying in the Latin Quarter, our favorite corner of the city. You’ll love wandering its winding streets, soaking up the lively café culture, and strolling along the Seine, where generations of writers and artists found inspiration. For a perfect home base, we recommend Hôtel Notre Dame Maitre Albert, a charming hideaway that captures the neighborhood’s timeless Parisian flair.
Train
Enjoy a scenic one hour and thirty minute train ride from Paris to Amboise, with departures from several stations across the city. Tickets go on sale about three months in advance, and booking early can help you secure the best fares. Please plan to arrive at Château de Pray by four o'clock. Taxis are readily available at the Amboise station to transfer you directly to the château. If you’d rather drive, rent a car and take the A10 southwest out of Paris. It is a roughly 200 km journey that takes about two hours on the motorway. Parking is available at Château de Pray for your convenience.
