How Jake walked into Lucy and Trey's rehearsal dinner. It's safe to say he didn't know Melody would be there.

"Groomsman steals maid of honor" would be the title of our relationship.

Jake: "Congrats on graduating! What do you plan on doing now?" Melody: "I don't know." Somehow she thought she was flirting but Jake would say the signals were as mixed as a junk drawer.

After Melody chucked a handkerchief in Jake's face (in the form of sliding into the DMs) we finally made it to our first date... which consisted of 5 hours of straight yappin'

On the second date, Jake caught Melody a turtle out of the pond. We yapped at the pond, and then went to Mtn Lake to yap some more. Jake made up his mind that day... he was going to marry her.

Long distance equals MANY FaceTime calls. Who knows how long we spent yapping while Jake tried to break out of handcuffs lol

Third date was a double date with the matchmakers. Melody tried to break out of the handcuffs, and Jake got the Mexican restaurant to sing Happy Birthday to her (it wasn't her Birthday)

Jake drove an hour one way just to help Melody run her booth at a festival... in the DUMPING rain.

Fourth date, right before Jake asked Melody if she wanted to make it official...

And she said, "So what are we...?"

September 21, 2025 was the day Melody officially decided she was going to marry this man.

September 24, 2025 was the day Jake bought the engagement ring.
