We're getting married!

On a September evening in 2017, Mannon's older brother Fabrice invited her to his friends house to watch an anime (Erased). When Fabrice introduced her to his friend Jacob, they instantly hit it off, and the rest is history. After hanging out a few more times, and bonding over similar music tastes and love for all animals, Mannon and Jacob began dating. They would make breakfast for dinner together, and Jacob always made sure to make Mannon's dog Sandy and his dog Lilith some small pancakes so they could join in. Their first date was going to Spirit Halloween and Five Guys. Mannon bought Jacob a red Power Rangers beanie and Jacob bought Mannon grilled cheese. Jacob introduced Mannon to horror films and, while she enjoys them, she will still not watch one with out him (after seeing the first IT movie, Mannon made them sleep with a small night light for a few days). When lockdown happened, they weren't living together and so they had to spend a good amount of time outside, going for walks. Jacob let Mannon have joint custody of his Nintendo Switch so she could play Animal Crossing. Eventually they did end up living together during this time when Jacob moved to his own apartment and no longer had roommates. This was when they found their cat, Rain, in the gutter on a rainy Labor Day. Their dog Lilith initially had to adjust to no longer being an only child, and Rain had to adjust to civilization but today they are a happy little family. Jacob, Mannon and their girls moved to Lakewood in 2021, where Lilith is an icon to their neighbors and Rain a local cryptid. They have been with each other through college graduations, moves, Covid lockdown, good days, bad days, celebrations, birthdays, ER visits, death of loved ones, walks late at night, long car rides, trips to the vet, layoffs, parties, shopping tours, concerts, musicals, thunderstorms, power outages, singing silly songs, every new hair style and colour and anything else that life throws at them. They are best friends, and so excited to spend forever together.
