Flight
If you are choosing to start your trip with our wedding, we highly recommend you fly into the Rome airport (FCO) so you can easily connect to Orvieto. Connect to Orvieto easily via train: Fiumincino Aeroporto - Roma Termini - Orvieto
Flight
Ending your Italy Trip with our Wedding and want to tour Northern Italy? I would recommend coming in through Milan and training to Venice, Como, and Verona!
Train
If landing in Fiumicino (Roma), your train ride will take 2 - 3 hours depending on the time of day you arrive and the connections. When searching on the Trenitalia site, be sure to modify the dates to get the appropriate times. Google maps *transit view* will be your best friend to see trains!
Train
From Milan to Orvieto, it's about a4.5 hour train ride. If you are doing this, I would recommend breaking up your trip and visiting Florence or Bologna. Google maps *transit view* will be your best friend to see trains!
Rental Car
Feeling adventurous and want to go to every.small.town Italy has to offer? Get a car! I will caution, Italians drive as passionately as they speak with their hands... aka it's all over the place. If that scares you... maybe don't get a car and train and bus your trip.
Travel Note
Mandy and Fabio Alfredo (aka Mandy's dad) love to help folks plan their trips to Italy and we have some thoughts on how to get around and best places to hit while you are here!
