E-Visa
Visa Requirement All non-Brazilian citizens traveling to Brazil must obtain an Electronic Visa (e-Visa) in advance. Where to Apply? You can apply online through the official Brazilian government website, where you can fill out your application, submit your documents, and pay any required fees. (Click on “view”) Process Overview 1. Complete the online application form. 2. Upload a valid passport photo and copies of your passport. 3. Pay the visa fee 4. Wait for processing — it may take several days, so plan ahead. Helpful Tips • Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months after the date you plan to enter Brazil. • Save a digital copy of your e-Visa approval — you may need to show it when boarding your flight or upon arrival. • Apply early to avoid delays.

1st - Flight to International Airport - São Paulo (GRU) 2nd- Flight to Bauru or rent a car and drive (4hr) To fly from São Paulo to Bauru, you may need to travel to a different airport in SP (VCP), to find suitable flights or better availability. You can get an Uber from GRU to VCP. Flights companies in Brazil: Azul, LATAM and Gol (Flights from VCP to Bauru (JTC) around 250USD)

During the first 180 days after entering Brazil, a foreigner can legally drive using either the International Driving Permit (IDP) or their home country driver’s license, as long as it is valid. São Paulo is a big city, it's our NYC. Please watch out for aggressive drivers, motorcycles weaving between cars, and sudden lane changes. Use a reliable GPS with traffic alerts (Google Maps or Waze). Once you get on the Marechal Rondon Highway (SP-300), traffic usually eases, and the drive is much calmer. The road is mostly dual carriageway and safe, but there are toll booths. Please make sure you have money with you.
