How Formal is the wedding?

Answer

Our event is black tie formal, we request that all the guests wear the color black, unless previously approved by the Bride and Groom! If you are wearing a suit a white shirt with a black suit jacket would be fine!

What time should I arrive at the Ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that all guests arrive at least 15-30 minutes before the scheduled ceremony. Late arrivals will not be allowed into the building until after the ceremony. Your punctuality is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to celebrating this special day with you!

What should I not wear to the wedding?

Answer

Please, please, please, do not show up in casual wear, or any other color than black!

Can I take pictures during the wedding cermony?

Answer

We would appreciate it if our guests could refrain from taking photos during our ceremony, we want to create an intimate and uninterrupted moment for everyone present. This will allow us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience and cherish heartfelt connection with loved ones without distraction. WE LOVE OUR PHOTOGRAPHER AND YOU WILL TOO!! We will be capturing all the the special moments, enabling our guests to relax and be fully present, knowing that the beautiful memories will be preserved.

Can I take pictures during the reception?

Answer

We encourage our guests to take photos during the reception. However, we kindly request that you refrain from posting any photos on social media or sharing them with others until we have had a chance to post about the wedding ourselves. Thank you for understanding and respecting our wishes.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

No, we will not be serving alcohol as we cannot legally drink yet. Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable evening for everyone. In lieu of a happy hour or traditional bar we will be having a Dirty Soda Bar. This is an outside service we are bringing in, tips are welcome. If you are found to have alcohol we will kindly escort you out of the venue.

When is the rsvp deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is set for July 25, 2026. We will reach out to confirm headcount for the catering in early August. If any changes arise after the deadline, please feel free to reach out to us personally at (815) 545-5778. We want to make sure everyone's presence is accounted for. If your name was not included on the invite and you did not receive a plus one card in your invite please do not bring a guest due to restrictions of the venue.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "No," so we can plan accordingly.

Is there a wedding registry where i can find ideas for your special day?

Answer

Thank you for considering a gift to the Bride and Groom! Please visit the "Registry" tab at the top of the page to explore gift ideas and options. Your presence is truly the most meaningful gift, but if you wish to bring something to our wedding, there will be a table available for your convenience. We can't thank you enough for your love and support.
