It all started with a swipe... Jacob had a profile on Bumble and Lindsay's Matron of Honor (Sophie) created her an account and swiped on Jacob. A week later, after many conversations, we met at a local coffee shop named La Vida. Before we knew it, 3+ hours had gone by and we noticed the coffee shop was trying to close. We then went to our favorite Mexican restaurant (La Carretta) and talked for an additional 3 hours. After our first date, we both knew there were many more to come.

Jacob had meticulously planned a day walking down memory lane of our favorite moments together. While drinking our morning coffee, Jacob received a phone call that his parents were stranded 3.5 hrs outside of town. Without hesitation, we got in the car and began the rescue mission, totally 8.5 hours of drive time. We had just enough time to make it to the last plan of the evening... our favorite date, the drive-in movie theater. On the way to the theater, Jacob stopped at a beautiful scenic overlook. While taking in the beautiful scenary, Jacob proposed! To celebrate we went to the drive in, ate dinner.... and fell asleep completely missing half of the movie because we were so tired. Through all the excitement of the day, we still had just as much fun than we would have had things gone to plan. We feel this is a great example of our life to come. Its perfectly imperfect.
