Our story began in 2017 at a baseball game, where a simple night out turned into something neither of us could have imagined. I noticed him playing before I ever knew his name and jokingly claimed him as “my boyfriend” almost instantly—something that turned out to be more prophetic than planned. When we finally met and started talking, the connection felt effortless. What began as a spark quickly grew into a deep friendship, and before long, we were officially together. For nearly two years, we shared life side by side, building a love rooted in laughter, trust, and an undeniable sense of belonging. He was my person. But sometimes love takes a longer road. Life led us in different directions, and for six years, we went our separate ways without crossing paths or staying in touch. Even so, the story wasn’t over. One ordinary day, completely unexpected, he reached out while I was at work. A conversation turned into catching up, and catching up turned into a date. From the very first moment we saw each other again, it was clear—time had changed us, but what mattered most hadn’t changed at all. The connection was still there, just as strong and familiar as ever. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. In March of 2025, we moved into our first home together, creating a space filled with love, laughter, and the quiet joy of building a life side by side. Just three months later, he asked me to be his wife. Our journey hasn’t been perfect or predictable, but it has been ours—and every twist and turn led us exactly where we were meant to be. We are so grateful for the love that found its way back to us and for the future we now get to share together.
