November 26, 2022 - the day our lives changed forever! A simple swipe on Bumble started what we hope will be a lifetime of happiness. After our first date in December 2022, we did not see each other again until May 2023, where we reconnected in North Carolina to "see some planes" at the air show on base.  This became the first meeting with the Lowery parents - who didn't even know Lauren existed!  In June we spent 2 more weeks together and officially started dating on July 1, 2023. Despite the six hours of distance between us, we made the long-distance relationship work and only fell deeper in love. With frequent trips to North Carolina, Maryland and Delaware, we made it! Lauren decided to go all in and moved back in with her parents in Virginia so we would only be three and a half hours apart. We made endless memories in the months that followed. Then, on April 28, 2025, Jacob got down on one knee and proposed to Lauren, asking her to be his wife – Mrs. Lowery!  It was the greatest day of our lives - we are so ready for our future together! And now, it is time to officially become one. Our love for each other is truly special. We are both lucky to call each other our best friend and life partner. We are truly so blessed to be loved and supported by so many family and friends. We cannot wait to see you all on our special day and to celebrate our love with all of you!
