Saida has been a loyal friend through all the ups and downs of life. Laurel can't wait to have her by her side on her wedding.

Best Man
Pat and Jacob met at a Worship team event and if you ask for both sides of the story, they apparently each thought the other person was the coolest dude in the room, sparking the friendship of a lifetime. Pat and Jacob bonded over the next 4 years as members on the Worship team, living together, and generally just being the same person. Patrick and his wife Carli have been great friends and confidants to Jacob and Laurel through many seasons of life.

Alexa and Laurel met during high school during a church mission trip. They bonded overlooking at the stars together. Alexa is one of the coolest ladies around, she has a pet frog named Richie, is always down for a creative photo shoot, and will be graduating from Texas State May 2022! Alexa is in charge of making sure that the only drama at this wedding is her. ;)

Jacob and Johnny met when they were paired together to lead a college community group together. If you've ever met Johnny or get a chance to, you'd know that it doesn't take long for him to learn everything about you. Johnny and Jacob have grown close over the years through deep conversations, relationship advice, and disc golf... Lots and lots of disc golf. If you're looking for the biggest hype man you've ever met with an unlimited supply of Dad jokes, look no further.
Morgan Richmond

Morgan (Mo) and Laurel met during their freshman year at Texas State through their college ministry. Laurel walked up to Morgan and said "Hey, you seem cool, we should be friends?" From that moment they have doing everything together. Morgan is the coolest boat driver at the Meadows Center, so she can tell you fun facts about turtles and salamanders. She will also be graduating Texas State May 2022! Laurel can't wait to have Mo next to her at the wedding!
Hunter Lara

Jacob met Hunter in High School and they became fast friends, bonding over music and a shared, broken sense of humor. Jacob and Hunter formed a band together, going through several iterations, and wrote several songs together. Hunter is always the friend who will drop everything for you and be the friend you need. Chelsey Tercero

Chelsey has been like a sister to Laurel for the last several years. Chelsey is a talented photographer, she has taught Laurel so much about the craft. Chelsey is also an amazing teacher, who truly cares for her students unlike any other. She is also a pretty die hard Taylor Swift fan, so you'll be sure to catch her on the dance floor!
Michael Machart

Jacob and Michael served together on the Leadership team for GENERATE Camps Blue Team 2021. Traveling together and serving non-stop for 3 months really brings bros together. Michael and Jacob quickly grew close as they had many vulnerable and deep conversations, late night McDonald's/Taco Bell venting sessions with the leadership team, and went through many tough weeks of camp together. Michael is the master of catch phrases and you'll never find a bigger Jorts guy.

Izzie and Laurel met through a church mission trip in high school. Through the years they have been able to be leaders on the same mission trip together, and always find ways to make people laugh. Izzie also works with laurel as a Barista at Sip! Izzie has the best laugh that will for sure make you smile!
Bryson Jenkins

Bryson is another one of Jacob's friends from Camp. They somehow managed to be roommates most weeks at camp and often drove together in the long Penske rides from camp to camp. Bryson and Jacob bonded over a shared love for music, live audio, and drums; as well as the many nights of intentional conversation. Anyone whose met Bryson knows that he's just a sassy old southern woman trapped in the body of a tall, Tennessee white boy. Bryson lights up the room with his quick wit and his unwavering confidence.
Haley Hernandez

Haley and laurel became friends over roasting her husband Jeremiah. Through the last 3 years they have gotten to walk with each other through highs and lows. Haley is actually the world largest Harry Potter Fan, she would be more than happy to sort you into your respective houses if you tell her a little about yourself. Laurel is so excited to have Haley with her on her wedding day.

Jacob and Alex met in Jr High at Anderson-Shiro High School. They became best friends faster than they could high five. Alex and Jacob grew up side-by-side doing everything together. From leading the school band's percussion section, to starting a trend of people wearing bow-ties every Wednesday. Alex was there for Jacob through a lot of good and bad times and will forever be great friends. You'll know Alex from his luscious long hair and his love for craft beer.

Meagan Is Laurel's big sister. Meg has always been there to give Laurel relationship advice, and encouragement in everything she has perused. Meagan is also mom of the two coolest kids, Knox and Breaker, you're sure to get a solid high five from them.
Arte Vega

Arte Vega. What can you say about the world famous Arte Vega. Jacob and Arte met much like he and Pat. They got to be good friends over the years through their college ministry and playing on the worship team together as well as being roommates for over two years. From almost dying on the way to a spurs game to many many roasts (mostly centered on Arte.) All jokes aside, Arte has been a great friend to Jacob and we're very happy to share this day with him by our side. Don't forget to sing him Happy Birthday.
Carli Bohmfalk

Carli is Patrick's wife. Laurel and Carli met through their college ministry, but became closer as her as Patrick were getting engaged. They have challenged each other in many game nights, and have grown so close in the last year. Carli is an incredibly talented individual, who has her degree in interior design. She has such a big heart that brings so much warmth to everywhere she goes!
Sam McClosky

Sam is one of Jacob's oldest friends. They met on Jacob's first day at Anderson and almost always shared a lunch table everyday after. Sam and Jacob shared many mutual interests and he most definitely did NOT help Jacob pass online College Algebra ;) Jacob and Sam shared an apartment for a year where they bonded over video games and a new shared love for the Houston Rockets, for better or worse, Amen. Sam is now a Math Teacher at Lockhart High School and is one of the smartest people you'll meet. If you have a few minutes (more like hours) ask him about anything Baseball or Football related.
