FAQs

Question

I have a question about the wedding, who do I contact?

Answer

Honestly the bride will be too overwhelmed to answer. If it is a serious question ask the groom. If you can’t get to the groom, it’s not that serious 🖤

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

Dress to impress. No holes, no rips, no jeans, no leggings, no t-shirts. Think if you would be comfortable getting a professional picture taken in the outfit. We want you to be comfortable, but we are asking for the ceremony to be Semi-formal. For ideas from Pinterest: https://pin.it/71dU928iJ If you have to ask if it’s appropriate to wear to a wedding, it’s probably not. For the love of god if you wear anything that is close to white expect to get covered in a liquid.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If they are not on your RSVP cards do not bring them! The couple is only allowed to have a certain number of people which is 55 on the property. If you bring someone that was not on the RSVP and you didn’t clear it with the couple expect to be turned away.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we understand that children are important parts of everyone’s life, we are asking for no children under the age of the Best Man. The Bride is a Mandated reporter, she does not want to have to do paperwork on her wedding day.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We are asking for a COMPLETE unplugged ceremony. No cellphone, just beautiful faces. We have a photographer who is amazing at her job. There will be signs and reminders that this is an unplugged ceremony. We encourage photos and videos after the ceremony during the reception.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is parking all the way in the back, by the Ephrata community pool. Do NOT park in the VA parking lot, they will tow you. Go past that and park in the back.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are hoping to just do a cash fund for a down payment on a home. Due to the Bride and Groom’s professions, a honeymoon would be difficult.

Question

Is there alcohol?

Answer

Our venue has asked us to have NO shots/hard liquor. There will be a bartender that we are paying for. They will have everything we are allowed to have on the list. What we are asking is if you are 21+ have your ID on you. Our bartender does have to card for their safety. As well as we are asking you to only consume alcohol in the venue and on the covered deck, and only by the bartender. There is a lot of liability if these rules are not followed.

Answer

Hey! Thanks so much for taking the time to read through these. At the time of writing this we are 6 months out and the Bride is up to her neck in stress from a full time job and planning a wedding for everyone. The Bride has heart issues and can’t handle stress very well, so all we are asking is to keep in mind this is a small and intimate event that we are planning for those we truly know. If you have questions or concerns please be respectful, but keep in mind that we can always cancel this and elope.
