Maid of Honor
The sister of the bride! While there are too many memories to capture, some of Kayla’s favorites include always making her ask dad to get McDonalds and screaming Paramore in the car. We are grateful to have her standing in the bridal party on this special day 🤍
Matron of Honor
Kayla and Amanda met freshman year of high school when Kayla first moved to Amboy. They quickly bonded over their mutual and odd love for ketchup with mashed potatoes. While they probably won’t offer that cuisine at the resort, we couldn’t imagine our day without her!
Bridesmaid
Kayla met Heather in grad school, and little did she know that Heather would become one of her closest friends. After graduation they took on Houston together, sharing a home, countless wine nights, karaoke melodies, and more unforgettable memories than one could count. We are so grateful to have her standing with us on this special day.

Officiant
Kim has been a special part of the family forever. From fun girls’ weekends to countless Thanksgivings, she has been there through it all—including watching our relationship grow from the very beginning. So when it came time to choose someone to officiate our wedding, there was no question—it had to be Kim! Fun fact: Kim also officiated Kayla’s mom and stepdad’s wedding! We couldn’t imagine anyone else standing with us as we say “I do.”
Ring Bearers
Brothers of the bride, the most personality filled kiddos you’ll ever meet! You may catch Jackson dabbing down the aisle, or Parker building Lego’s poolside 😎
Wedding Reader
Kara and Kayla met in Houston and have been great friends ever since. Kara has been there from the very beginning of Kayla and Jacob’s relationship, witnessing their journey firsthand. Her friendship, support, and countless shared memories make her such a special part of our lives. We are honored to have Kara reading a passage during our ceremony, adding her voice to this meaningful moment as we say “I do.” If only Kara could also bring her cat, Chibi to the party!
Cat of Honor
While Lucy won’t be attending the wedding, she’ll be sending her parents well wishes from home 🤍 (probably on the one chair she’s not allowed on)
