We met through mutual friends, but it wasn't until we went to the lake together one day with some friends that we really started getting to know each other! We had a great time swimming, hanging out by the water, and just talking. I could tell that he was interested in me, but I was too shy to make a move. After the lake, we went to Dave and Busters. He kept flirting with me and making me blush. I was so flustered, but I couldn't help but smile!! At the end of the night, he kissed me We hung out almost every day after that. We would go up the mountain and sit and talk for hours, went to the movies, and just enjoyed each other's company. I knew that I was falling for him, and I think he was feeling the same way. On September 21st, 2018 he took me to West Mountain in Hot Springs. We stood on top of the mountain in the rain, listening to the song "September,” when he asked me to be his girlfriend!

Jacob proposed to me in front of the Nobska Lighthouse in Cape Cod, Massachusetts at sunset. We were surrounded by family and friends and It was the most magical moment!! I said yes, of course, and we can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together! :)
