Jacob was at his neighbors Dove and Carson's house with his parents celebrating Dove’s birthday. Natalie (Josie's Mom) was there and we started talking. After talking for what seemed to be 5 minutes she said; "I think you would be perfect for my daughter!" I had a couple of beers so I said "Heck yeah, bring her down." Not really thinking she was actually going to invite her to our neighbors house. 10 minutes later, she came back over letting me know that her daughter was on her way and would be here in 10 minutes. As I sat there waiting for her to arrive I started to get a little nervous, I started talking to some of the other men there decided to full send it. Once she arrived we talked for two hours, I asked for her number and the rest is history.

After month of bugging Jake about him proposing and us getting married he finally set things into motion. I always told Jake I wanted my family to be involved somehow when it comes to him proposing. I also jokingly told him he needs to ask all of my siblings not just my dad for my hand in marriage. Thanksgiving of 2023 he ran around my parents house secretly asking my parents and siblings if he can marry me. I am very surprised no one spilled the beans. A month later my mom messages saying she scheduled family pictures and we have to be there. She then messaged me and said Jake's family will be joining us so they can take family pictures also yet I still was clueless that at the end of us all taking family pictures Jake was going to get down on one knee and propose.
