Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, A valid passport book is required to enter Mexico by air, and those attempting to enter at an airport with a U.S. passport card only may be denied admission. Passports should be valid for 6 months post travel. To review the most current entry, exit, and visa requirements and to apply for, or renew your passport please visit the Travel.state.gov website for directions and guidance.

How do I RSVP?

Please RSVP "Yes" by booking your stay through the provided booking link. And RSVP yes or no on the RSVP tab.

Do we have to book through the booking link, or can we book on our own?

Answer

We have reserved rooms at a set rate for our group. To participate in all the wedding-related activities, you must book through this group room block and not through any other method. We offer contracted group rates that have been secured through a room block to make this as easy as possible. When you book through our room block you are also helping us acquire perks that will make our special moments and your experience even more unforgettable for all of us to enjoy together. Any rooms booked outside of the room block must pay an additional fee of $120-$190 per person to attend any wedding events.

How do we book Flights?

Answer

Flights will become available to book around Friday, May 10, 2024. Once you book your room, Ann Marie will reach out to you with specific information regarding flights and how to book them. - The airport you will be flying into is San Jose del Cabo International Airport – (SJD)

When do we need to book our room by?

Answer

Thursday, September 17, 2024 is the deadline to get an available room in the room block and the deadline to be included in the wedding events as per our wedding venue. Any reservations requested after that will not be able to attend the wedding events due to our contractual agreement with the resort.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos is a family friendly resort. However, please note that our wedding events will be adults only. The fiesta kids club (ages 4-12) will be open 930-1245pm, 2-4 pm, and 6-10 pm. Additionally, the resort offers a babysitter service by request for an additional fee.

How will we get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

When booking your accommodations through the booking link, you may choose to add round trip shared transfers from San Jose Del Cabo (SJD) Airport to Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos. These transfers will only be shared with other guests in our group.

Where is Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos Located?

Answer

Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos is located in the tourist destination of Los Cabos, Mexico. Specifically, the resort is situated in the area known as Cabo del Sol, which is along the coastline of the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula. Only 40 minutes from Los Cabos International airport (SJD), and a quick 15 minutes to downtown Cabo San Lucas.

What will the weather be like in April in Cabo?

Answer

April is one of the best months to travel to Cabo. With Highs of 87 and lows of 67, the weather this time of year is practically perfect!

Are Beaches in Cabo Swimmable?

Answer

Some beaches are swimmable and some are not due to powerful undertows and treacherous waves, many beaches are not swimmable and therefore are best for just sunbathing. The beach at Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos is swimmable in some areas and has a great spot for snorkeling. Make sure to check local weather and be aware of changing sea conditions before jumping in as every beach is different and can vary based on time of day.

If we want to do a tour in Cabo on our own, where should we book?

Answer

There are so many adventures to be had in Cabo. Popular attractions include Land's End, El Arco, Medano Beach, and the Marina. Outdoor enthusiasts may also enjoy activities like snorkeling, atv or camel rides, and zip-lining. Is the water safe to drink in Cabo?

Answer

All major hotels and restaurants provide purified water and bottled water is always available throughout Los Cabos. It's not always recommended drink the water directly from the tap, we recommend asking for bottled water wherever you go.

Do I need to pack electrical converters?

Answer

No. Mexico has the same electrical outlets as we do in the U.S.
