This is a fun little park that has an assortment of animals, a Redwood tree skywalk, and is attached to a Redwood grove park in the middle of the city! We went on the skywalk in April and it is incredible. Suspension bridges over the Redwood forest offer amazing views! Note... this is not for those who are afraid of heights!
This food is amazing. It is a finer dinning restaurant & bar that's right on beautiful Moonstone Beach.
This is one of Jillaine's favorite state parks. This is a very family friendly place with the following features! -Tide pooling at Palmer's point. -Hiking on the Rim Trail, Wedding Rock, or to a Jurassic park set at Ceremonial Rock. -Yurok Native American village the kids can explore. -Agate hunting at Agate Beach.
Seascape has great seafood in a relaxed environment in Trinidad, Ca. There is a cool fisherman's pier and a small beach with tide pooling nearby.
Incredible Jurassic Park trail. You walk through a creek (wear waterproof shoes) into a canyon covered on each side with lush ferns. Gold Bluff beach is located at the same parking lot and has great ocean views and camping. Please note permits are now needed to visit Fern Canyon.
For those who don't want to go to an oceanfront. This park offers kayaking and swimming!
Cool visitors center that's worth a visit. Great beach access. Crazy ocean though... we would not suggest swimming!
This is Jillaine's favorite park. The trail system is simple to access and has both easy as well as moderate trails. This is one of the most beautiful Redwood groves in the area. The park also has a scenic drive through for those who do not want to hike.
Beautiful Redwood grove with handicap access and smooth trails. This trail system is a much quicker hike then the Prairie Creek grove. This grove offers a cool bridge to hike across and educational follow along signs for kids throughout the hike!
We have not personally visited this historical site in Eureka but we've heard it's really cool!
