We can't wait to celebrate with you!

First of all, Jessie doesn't remember the moment. Jacob will never let her forget such a faux pas. Sitting at an orientation for a new job, Jacob slid into the seat next to Jessie & started the conversation. Later, when he asked her for her phone number, Jessie declined. It wasn't until a few nights (and a few drinks) later, Jessie then slid into Jacob's DMs. Despite Jacob's flight back to New Mexico & Jessie's travels back to DC, the conversation never stopped.

After several strong hints at her desire for engagement, Jessie accepted it was never going to happen. Pandemic lock-up had both Jessie & Jacob itching to get out of D.C., so Jessie thought nothing when Jacob planned an entire trip to the Shenandoah Valley. What's more shocking, Jessie continued to think nothing when Jacob suggested the two leave their cabin to drive *90 minutes* to a pre-selected overview in the National Park to watch the sunset. In the cabin-chic flannels, flip-flops, & headbands, Jessie didn't bat an eyelash when Jacob asked some soon-to-be stargazers to take their photo (video). Jacob popped the question, Jessie squealed, 'yes!' and then Jacob froze... so, Jessie popped the ring out of its box and onto her finger! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter with you.
