We're getting Married!

As sophomores at Gettysburg College, Jacob and Jasmin both found themselves at a popular local bar in town on Super Bowl Sunday. They had arrived separately to "The Gettysburger" unknown of the future connection that would form that night. Thanks to the keen eye of a mutual friend, the groups merged tables. As fate would have it, Jacob chose the seat directly in front of Jasmin. After a short introduction Jasmin was already informing her friends of the "cute boy" she had the pleasure of conversing with. As the night continued, Jacob noticed that Jasmin had yet to secure a date to Chi O's upcoming spring formal. He offered to pay for her drinks in return for a phone number and an invite to the party. His plan worked. A week later the two embarked on their first date and a week after that they were officially dating.

Jasmin and Jacob went on to graduate from Gettysburg College in May of 2023. That summer they moved to Winston-Salem, NC, for Jasmin to get her law degree at Wake Forest University. In January of 2026, Jasmin and Jacob will be moving to Charlotte, NC, where they plan on living for the near future.
