FAQs

We hope the information listed below will be helpful to you. If you still have an unanswered question, please contact one of the grooms! ...
Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a limited amount of parking at the venue. We recommend taking an Uber or carpooling, if possible! However, please feel free to drive if that is your preference.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding attire is cocktail. Suits are preferred, and floor-length or cocktail dresses are welcome. This is a fall wedding with a fairly muted color palette. Please refrain from wearing any bright or flashy colors. Thank you! Our wedding ceremony will be held outdoors (unless it rains), so please be mindful of this as you are considering what to wear. October in Oxford is usually pretty mild, but depending on the year it could lean hot or cold. Check the forecast! The reception will be held indoors.

Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

Answer

It is about a 12 minute drive from Oxford's main Square to our wedding venue. Oxford is a college town so there are several rentable forms of transportation! We recommend using Uber or carpooling with another guest.

Question

Are plus ones or children allowed?

Answer

Only those addressed in your invitation are welcome at the wedding. While we have so many people that we love, we have opted for a more intimate and personal wedding and are excited to celebrate with those who can make it!

Question

Anything I should be aware of during the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will include a moment where all guest are invited to participate in communion. The communion will be carried out with grape juice and bread, with gluten free options for those who need it. If you do not wish to partake in communion, you are still invited to come to the altar and receive a blessing, or you may remain in your seat.

Question

Anything I should be aware of for the reception?

Answer

We have envisioned our reception as an evening dinner party with friends! With that in mind, there will not be dancing at our reception. Many of the other traditional elements will be present, but ultimately we hope this will be a time for us to connect with you, you to connect with others, and all of us to enjoy a really great meal!

Question

Phones and posting photos to social media?

Answer

Please refrain from using your phones to take photos during the ceremony or reception. We have hired a very talented photographer to capture the day, and we will be excited to share their photos with you afterward!

Question

Note on getting home safely:

Answer

Your safety is most important to us. Please drink responsibly! If you drive to the wedding but need to Uber home, your car can remain at the venue until 11am on Sunday morning.
