FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal, but the most important thing is that you are comfortable! There will be some walking so we would recommend wearing comfortable shoes.

Question

Will the ceremony and/or the reception be outside?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception are expected to be outside, weather permitting. If it were to rain, the wedding will still occur at the arboretum, but will be moved indoors. If anything changes due to weather, we will make sure to update our website ASAP

Question

Is parking at the Arboretum free?

Answer

Yes, parking is free for wedding guests. Let them know when you are driving through that you are there for the Lauren/Ewald wedding and no payment will be needed

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We would suggest arriving at the Arboretum by 12:30 PM so you have lots of time to get to the ceremony at the Sensory Garden

Question

Where is the Sensory Garden?

Answer

The Sensory Garden is about a 5 minute walk from the main parking lot. It is located down the hill from the Rose Garden and straight across from the Ordway Picnic Shelters. Maps will be available at the Oswald Visitor Center and staff will be able to point you in the right direction if you need any help! There will also be an option for guests to be driven to the ceremony space by golf carts

Question

Where should I go if I want to be driven to the ceremony by golf cart?

Answer

If you would like to be driven to the ceremony by golf cart, please meet at the Oswald Visitor Center by 12:45. The visitor center is the building closest to the main parking lot. Staff is being notified that people will meet here in order to utilize the golf carts

Question

Are there any other ways to get to the ceremony space?

Answer

There are roads that lead to the Sensory Garden and a small parking lot that can be used to drop off members of your party. We cannot reserve the parking lot unfortunately so it may be full but dropping off members should not be an issue.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome. Please include them in your RSVP response if they will be attending

Question

Are masks required at the arboretum?

Answer

At this time masks are not required at the arboretum, but if this policy changes we will update our website.

Question

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes! We are planning on having appetizers after the ceremony and an asian buffet for dinner. There will also be cake for desert!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we are registered at Zola, Macys and Amazon. Please see the registry tab on this website for more information
