We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony time to ensure you're seated and ready for the festivities!
We kindly ask our guests to join us in formal attire. Floor-length gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or dressy separates are perfect for women. Men are encouraged to wear a dark suit jacket, dress pants, and a tie. We can’t wait to see you all dressed up!
Typically, the weather is sunny and warm, so dress accordingly and check the forecast closer to the day. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be hosted outside on the lawn.
If your invitation includes a plus-one, they'll be listed on your RSVP. We wish we could invite everyone!
We love your little ones; however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adult-only event.
Yes! We've reserved a block of rooms at the Omni New Haven at Yale. Check the 'Travel' page on our website to book a room!
The closest airport is Tweed-New Haven Regional Airport (HVN), about 15 minutes from the Omni Hotel. You can also take the Amtrak to New Haven Union Station, which is about 7 minutes from the Omni Hotel. Shuttles from the Omni Hotel to Guilford Yacht Club will be provided on the day of the wedding.
The Omni Hotel offers valet service and covered self-parking 24 hours a day. While there is ample guest parking available at Guilford Yacht Club, we encourage guests who intend to drink at the reception to take advantage of the shuttle service that runs to and from the hotel.
Besides the wedding ceremony, reception, and after-party, we'll also be hosting a farewell brunch on Sunday morning at the Omni. Check the 'Weekend Schedule' page for more details!
