Your nicest, most summer-y attire! Think bright colors and “Sunday best,” because honestly—if not a wedding, what is worth dressing up for? Word on the street is the ladies will be in colorful dresses, and the gents in slacks with a shirt and/or tie to match their date. (Khakis can take the day off.)
We love you, but… nope. We’re paying a very talented photographer a lot of money to capture the moment, so unless you’d like to compare your skills with theirs, please keep your phone or camera tucked away. Don’t worry—there will be plenty of chances to snap photos of (and with!) us during the reception.
Please plan to arrive by 3:30 PM—the ceremony starts at 4:00 sharp, and if you know anything about the groom’s family, it’s that they start on time. We’d hate for you to miss a single moment, so guests who arrive late will be kindly asked to remain outside and join the fun at the reception.
ABSOLUTELY! If we invited you, we expect to see your "littles" as well. We plan to have yard games available to entertain kids (and adults) after the ceremony as well.
Both the ceremony and reception are indoors—ceremony in a beautiful chapel, reception on a covered deck right next door. You’ll still have plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, but you can rest easy making your shoe, weather, and hairspray decisions.
Due to capacity limitations of our venue, we only have accommodations for the number of guests who are named on the invitation.
There will not be organized transportation to the venue, but there is sufficient parking at the venue. That being said, we do encourage you to carpool with a group as much as possible.
