Wedding Party

The ones crazy enough to stick by our side through thick and thin and down the aisle!

Jessica Guthrie

Matron of Honor

Jessica is my big sister and biggest cheerleader -- never has she missed a sporting event, life event or those times when I just needed my rock. She has been such an influential person on my life and I am so excited to have her standing by my side on my wedding day!

Alyssa Wetzler

Maid of Honor

The story of our friendship isn't quite as traditional as most friendships start. Alyssa and I had a crush on the same boy and she got to go camping with him (he is obviously irrelevant now lol), so I was very jealous and it was obvious that I didn't like her and she didn't like me. Fast forward a few months after the camping trip to softball season.. I walk into practice and there she was. She was selected to be on the same softball team as me and I remember looking at my mom and immediately telling her that I had changed my mind & I didn't want to play that year. The next part I'm not sure if it was intentional on our coaches part or not, but he paired us to be pitching and catching partners and well, we became and have remained the absolute best of friends. Alyssa is a such a special person and I am so blessed to have her as my maid of honor.

Stephanie Schramm

Bridesmaid

Steph is family. Technically she is my cousin, but we are more like sisters. I was lucky enough to get to spend a lot of time with Steph during my time at PLU because she only lived 15 minutes away. It was so amazing to have family so close to me while being at college and to this day, I dont think she realizes how grateful I was and am for the familiar face, hugs, pep talks, job(s), home cooked meals and support she provided me with during my four years in college. I am so lucky to have Stephanie in my life and even luckier to have her by my side on my wedding day.

Jordyn King

Bridesmaid

My new sister!!! I am so excited to be getting another sister, and what better person than Jordyn? I am so grateful that Jordyn has always accepted and encouraged me to be my weird and goofy self around her. I have cherished every moment I have spent with Jord, and Jacob and I's wedding day will be no different. I cannot wait to share a last name with her.

Fiona May

Bridesmaid

Fiona and I met at PLU when I was a sophomore and she was a junior. After the first time of meeting Fi I knew we were going to be friends. Fiona is the type of friend that no one forgets because of how contagious her presence is. She is one of the most fun people to be around and is the type of friend that is down to go to the bar for happy hour or staying in and watching Halloween movies on the couch in our PJs & I love that about her. I have known for a long time that Fiona is someone I would not only want standing by me on my wedding day, but someone that I would need -- as my hype woman, the one with tissues the second I need them, the one on the dance floor getting everyone to join in, and the person to make mine and Jacob's wedding day even more memorable than it already will be.

Ellis Akana

Bridesmaid

My Hawaiian babe! I met Ellis through Fiona and when Fiona decided to leave us to study abroad, Ellis and I latched on to one another to fill the void lol. During Fi's absence, Ellis and I became very good friends and here we are years later where I have travelled to Hawaii to see her and she has travelled to Washington to see me. Ellis is my spontaneous, adventurous friend -- the one who never says no to a good time or trying something new. Ellis helps me get out of my comfort zone and reminds me to look at life with a glass half full. Ellis is a forever friend of mine and I can't wait to celebrate with her.

Tiffany Allison

Bridesmaid

For those of you who don't already know Tiff, she was my college roommate all four years at PLU and also my roommate in Namibia--we have spent A LOT of time together lol! Tiff and I first met through the PLU incoming freshmen Facebook page where we chatted and got to know each other. I think her and I both instantly knew that we needed to be roomies. She quickly went from being my roommate, to my best friend, and family. I am honored to know and love Tiff and have her by my side on my wedding day.

Hannah Snyder

Bridesmaid

Hannah is from Poulsbo and went to North Kitsap High School, which is funny because it turns out we knew each other before we actually knew each other. Day of the wedding be sure to ask her about the story of how we realized who each other was -- it's a good one. On a more serious note, Hannah came into my life when I needed her most. She very quickly became one of my closest friends. Hannah is the type of person to prioritize her friendships and makes sure you always know that she is thinking of you -- even during her crazy busy basketball seasons. I absolutely adore Hannah and am so thankful to have a friend like her in my life and standing by my side as a bridesmaid.

Callie Hall

Bridesmaid

Callie and I met in high school and more specifically on the volleyball court. We were both setters. Callie is two years younger than me so our coach always had me run drills with Callie to help teach her how to set. It was so much fun working with Callie during practice and over time we got to know each other really well and then found ourselves spending time together outside of practice & building a very solid and very special friendship. I absolutely cherish my friendship with Callie -- she is one of the most selfless people I know and just an absolute sweetheart. There wasn't a single time when I would go back to Port Angeles and not see Callie because she always made seeing me a priority -- that'll make anyone feel so special and so loved. I am so excited to have Callie as a lifelong friend and bridesmaid.

Cody Russell

Best Man

My main man since literally day 1. I can't remember a time without my best friend Cody in my life. We've been through virtually everything together and even though he's always been jealous of my sense of humor and devilishly good looks, he's always been by my side through the good ideas and more frequently the bad ones.

Joey Larson

Groomsman

The photo says it all... Joey has been my big brother for as long as it's mattered. He coached my youth basketball team and taught me that cut offs and sweatbands are the key to any athletes success. Joe has been a role model for me forever and I'm so excited to have him by my side during this adventure as well, it never hurts to have a reformed degenerate around.

Marc Gallant

Groomsman

If the state of WA recognized common law marriages Marc (Stadium Class of ‘18)and I would be heading down quite a different path. Marc has been one of my best friends since about freshman/sophomore year of college. Since then we've lived together for about 7 years in total. One of the most loyal and hilarious people that I've ever had the pleasure of being around, I couldn't think of anyone better to have in your corner at your wedding!

Doug James

Groomsman

Dougie (Stadium Class of ‘18) is a DAWG, we met in college and lived together in STADIUM for almost 3 years. He's the big (kinda-friendly) giant that everyone should have in their crew. If I ever find myself in a circumstance where my life depends on someone hammering a fifth of vodka in under 4 hours Doug is the first call I'm making. Doug has been like a brother to me and has always been there for support or just to shoot the breeze whenever we get the chance.

Parker Bowles

Groomsman

Bowles will hate this but I've always thought of him as a younger brother. He's not really that much younger than me but I remember hanging out with him during practice at PLU and talking crap to each other and it became one of the things I looked forward to every day. Bowles was also a STADIUM (Class of '19) man, and some of my sweetest memories of the house are when we would come home from bar hopping and put hours in playing Super Smash Bros on his gamecube. Bowles also lived with Emily and I in our apartment for almost a year, where he went from one of my best friends to a family member to Em and I. Can't wait to have him with me on our big day.

Travis McMillon

Groomsman

Ooooohhh Travis, another STADIUM (Class '18) man, Trav was my first friend heading into college and one of the best friends I've made coming out of college. We met at the All-State football game coming out of high school and we immediately hit it off. Our freshman spring semester we shared the exact same schedule and spent every day together in classes/weightroom and when i could drag him out, even some parties. Papa Trav has always been the responsible one in our ridiculous group and has been an incredible friend to lean on through the years. I had the honor of being in his wedding and I'm so excited to have him in mine.

Carson Ketter

Groomsman

Ketter is one of our rare PLU boys that didn't have the honor of living in STADIUM with the rest of us. Carson and I met at the All-State game as well where he humbly forgot to mention to all of us the freak athlete that he was. Beyond his athleticism Carson is one of the nicest people that I have ever met. We both majored in Computer Science at PLU so we shared almost all of our classes and a lot of all nighters in the library or CS study rooms trying to survive the next Hauser exam or finish our capstone. Carson is one of those people in my life that I don't get to see as often as I would want but knowing him (and the fact that he's batman underneath all the muscle...ask him) and having him on my side will always be important to me.

Tabby Yu

Groomsman

Tabby is another non STADIUM man on the list but we don't hold it against him too much. Tab is arguably more sarcastic and witty than I am which is probably why we enjoy hanging out with each other so much. Tab lived with us while we lived in Kirkland and has been my go to partner in crime for most drinking trips I have been on. We've partied all across the US from Chicago in the snow to Utah in the summer and there's little people I would rather do it with. Tabby is a guaranteed good time no matter where he goes, and I can't wait to cut some rug my boy on our big day!

Casey Ruether

Officiant

Casey (Stadium Class of ‘18) has been close to us since the very beginning. He was one of the first people to know I had a crush on Emily and probably the first to realize that I was falling in love with her (potentially before me). I had the privilege of performing He and his wife Maddy's wedding which meant the world to me. Roughly 48 hours after Em and I's engagement Emily said 'So Casey is doing our wedding right?' trying to hide my excitement I said 'well we should at least think about it, we don't need to dive into anything'. I think that night we were out with Casey and Maddy and I knew that Case had to be the one to do the wedding. Casey has been a brother to myself and Emily for a long time now and we are so excited for him to play this role in our wedding.
