De Nada Cantina
A favorite spot of our's (let's be real, mostly Ellen)! The tacos are awesome and the margs are stellar. You get to take the pink cup they come in home with you! Pro tip: if you're going in the evening or the weekend make a reservation! They're not hard to come by, but if you don't make one online, you might have to wait for an hour or more.
The Peached Tortilla
We've gone here for a few dates and use it as a special spot. It's got great fusion food and fun drinks too! One time the waitstaff even gave us a coupon for a free dessert just because they liked us (so maybe you'll get one too!)
Chuy's
A classic, and one of Jacob's favorites. Go to the OG one for the vibes and the creamy jalapeno sauce.
Taste of Ethiopia I
We went here on our second date! And have been back since. A great spot and especially fun if you haven't had Ethiopian food before!
Mueller Lake Park
Jacob and Ellen go on walks here all the time. It's where Jacob first told Ellen his feelings for her (via poem) and where he proposed to her (also via poem - he's got a method). Duck watching and people watching are equally fun here. And you can always stop by Lick or sweetgreen if you want the true Jacob and Ellen experience.
