Our Story
OUR STORY
Jacob and Elisa met serving with the kids at their church in Denver. Elisa was struck by how much Jacob loves Jesus and found herself thoroughly enjoying talking with him, so much that she couldn't wait to chat with him again. A few weeks later, after realizing that she might really like him, Jacob texted her, and they have been talking every day since.
Jacob asked Elisa to go on a date with him a few weeks later after hours of chatting outside pho; they went on their first date right before Easter 2024. Over the following several months, they grew their relationship, fell in love with each other, and each sought the Lord and His will for their lives.
A year after they served together for the first time, Jacob surprised Elisa by proposing in his parents’ backyard. The Lord brought the two together and has blessed every step of their way. They cannot wait to continue to walk together and to pursue the Lord in their marriage.
