What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

You should plan to wear semi-formal attire. For women this means a cocktail dress, a longer dressy skirt and top, formal gown or a chic jumpsuit. While the dress code is semi-formal, feel free to dress up more formally. For men this means wearing dress slacks and a nice button-up shirt with or without a blazer. Men can also opt to wear a full suit, but a tie would not be required. What would be considered not semi-formal: jeans with holes, casual sundresses, flip-flops, t-shirts, hoodies, or baseball caps, or shirts with graphic designs. What will the weather be like for the wedding?

Answer

While we recommend you check closer to the wedding for a more accurate answer, in Michigan we can usually expect highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. This means it'll be chillier in the mornings and evenings and pleasant at mid-day. October is also a rainy month, which means there's a likelihood we'll see some colder showers. We'd recommend you bring a coat, jacket, or shawl as we'll be having an outdoor ceremony, weather permitting.
