Christina " We met in high school, we had two classes together, Criminal Justice and Anatomy where we were lab partners. At first, Jake didn't talk to me much, I was the weird girl who happened to sit next to him in class. But I weaseled my way into his life one class at a time. From there we became friends and talked almost everyday about life, school and the difficulties of being a teenager. We could have gone to prom together but Jake didn't realize I was being serious when I asked him, still that didn't stop us from dancing together the whole night! It was then that I realized I wanted to be more than friends. We had our first date after working on a presentation for class. We went to the movies and drove around listening to our favorite music. While our road hasn’t always been smooth, our love has been strong and we have always been there for each other. I cannot imagine my life without him. Jake- “She was a weird girl who sat next to me one day. Little did I know that the beauty that sat next to me would one day be my wife. I, in my cowardly fashion, ignored her and nervously tried to avoid eye contact. However, her amazing smile and green eyes won me over. We would work on projects and laugh together. I can recall the time we shared my headphones to listen to ‘Sweet Annie’. She became one of my best friends. I would stay up late to talk to her about her problems and give her advice. She would do the same for me. There was nothing that I would not do for her, except ask her out because I had been so nervous and scared. I look back at that time and kick myself every time I think that I almost missed my opportunity with her. And now I get to marry her, and I will fight for her love everyday of my life.”
